Role Summary

Wetherby Senior School, a member of the Inspired Education Group, is seeking a highly skilled Data and Exams Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Deputy Head, Academic with data and MIS management, leading the administration of external examinations, and ensuring the centre's compliance with JCQ and CIE regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date student data, ensuring seamless integration with iSAMS and other systems.
  • Oversee the administration of external examinations, including coordinating with awarding bodies, managing exam timetables, and ensuring the security and integrity of the assessment process.
  • Develop and implement effective data management strategies to support the school's academic goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the SENDCo to ensure the management of access arrangements for examinations.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the centre in matters relating to exam administration and ensure that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Subject Leaders, and teaching staff to ensure the smooth operation of exams and assessments.
  • Manage expenditure within the set annual budget.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work during main exam periods.
