We are seeking a DEDICATED and COMPASSIONATE Deputy Manager to enhance the lives of individuals with learning disabilities by providing a nurturing and supportive environment. As a Deputy Manager, your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional care and support to adults with learning disabilities.

  • Position: Deputy Manager

Responsibilities of the Deputy Manager:

  • Assist the Registered Manager in daily operations
  • Ensure high standards of clinical and personal support for service users
  • Help manage and implement key quality and safety initiatives
  • Oversee specific areas of the service's daily functions
  • Lead and supervise a team of Support Workers
  • Promote best practices within the team
  • Serve as a role model for staff and service users
  • Be available for on-call shifts as needed
  • Focus on continuous improvement and quality enhancement within the service
  • Maintain regular communication with the Service Manager


Qualifications Required:

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting adults with complex learning disabilities
  • Proficient IT skills with experience in record-keeping
  • Thorough understanding of CQC (Care Quality Commission) standards
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) with a commitment to obtain Level 5 within 18 months
  • In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety and Safeguarding regulations
