Role Overview:
As a Retail Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in transforming your designated area into an exceptional shopping environment. You will inspire and guide your team to deliver outstanding customer service while upholding high standards throughout the store.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Management team by leading and motivating a high-performing, engaged workforce.
  • Foster a culture of exceptional customer service to consistently exceed customer expectations.
  • Support team members through internal development initiatives aimed at nurturing future talent and career advancement.
  • Ensure a safe and compliant shopping environment for all team members and customers.
  • Meet or exceed financial objectives established by the organization.
  • Act as the store's responsible leader in the absence of the Store or Department Manager.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge Preferred:
  • Serve as a positive role model by mentoring colleagues and sharing expertise.
  • Strong communicator with excellent verbal, listening, and written skills.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience, preferably in a similar retail setting.
  • Proficient in prioritizing and delegating tasks to achieve team goals.
  • Demonstrate a passion for customer service with a proven track record of excellence.
  • Understand local market trends and competitor activities, identifying growth opportunities for the Store Manager.
