This pivotal role entails supervising production personnel and ensuring that the manufacturing operations align with both client expectations and safety regulations. This is an excellent opportunity to guide a team of 20-25 staff members, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective production of high-quality goods.

Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Team Leader:

  • Oversee a team of production staff, guaranteeing a secure working environment and adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Track essential performance metrics such as line efficiency, product quality, and yield. Propose and implement strategies to enhance performance and minimize expenses.
  • Ensure all team members receive comprehensive training tailored to their roles and individual requirements. Foster team engagement and motivation through consistent mentoring and performance assessments.
  • Manage the configuration and functioning of production lines, ensuring that products fulfill customer specifications and production goals.
  • Maintain compliance with HACCP, GMP, and all pertinent safety regulations. Promptly report and rectify any discrepancies.
  • Evaluate and enhance line performance, introduce innovative initiatives, and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, Production Managers, and fellow Supervisors, to ensure seamless operations and compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications for the Manufacturing Team Leader:

  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory capacity within a manufacturing setting is essential.
  • Background in the food production sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Dedication to health and safety practices.
  • Proficiency in IT, including familiarity with production management software.
  • Understanding of HACCP and GMP principles.
  • Health and Safety certification.
