General Sales Manager Role

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Sales Manager to lead our Sales team at our Porsche dealership in Newcastle. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and implementing sales strategies, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Sales team to deliver results and elevate their performance.
  • Maximize sales volume and profitability of new and used cars, finance, and insurance products.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service is maintained within the Sales department and wider dealership.
  • Drive and maintain a team culture of high performance and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of directing and developing high-performing teams to deliver results.
  • A customer-centric approach and ability to create and develop a culture of continuous improvement.
  • An interest in e-commerce and experience working within this area or a keen aptitude towards it.
  • A solid understanding of current motor industry practices.
  • Drive and aspiration to be the best and not accepting anything less.
  • Strong attention to detail and desire to deliver impeccable standards.
