Retirement Village Operations Manager

McCarthy Stone is seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our prestigious retirement village, The Old Market Village in Wimborne.
Nestled within expansive grounds and surrounded by picturesque countryside, this thriving community offers a blend of apartments and bungalows, complemented by state-of-the-art amenities. Residents enjoy a vibrant social scene with a homeowners' lounge, on-site bistro, landscaped gardens, a hotel-style guest suite, bespoke lifestyle and care services, and even a wellness zone featuring fitness studios and a hair and beauty salon.
As a Duty Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our residents. You will be responsible for managing the security of the development, overseeing the safety and welfare of homeowners, and coordinating the activities of the Care and Support teams.
Your Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service and support to residents, addressing their needs promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure the smooth running of daily operations, including managing staff schedules, coordinating activities, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Oversee the delivery of care and support services, ensuring that residents receive high-quality assistance in accordance with their individual needs.
- Foster a positive and welcoming community atmosphere, encouraging social interaction and participation in village events.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
We are seeking a compassionate and organized individual with a proven track record in the care or support sector. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
