Position Overview

The Continence Nursing Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering expert nursing care focused on continence management.

This position necessitates a high level of proficiency in specialized nursing knowledge and skills related to continence, enabling the provision of guidance, education, and support to both healthcare staff and patients, adhering to established healthcare standards and guidelines.

Candidates must be willing to undertake a specialized Continence Course, which, upon successful completion, will qualify them as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. The role also involves leading a dedicated team of nursing professionals under the guidance of the Continence Team Lead.

This position offers a hybrid working model, incorporating clinic appointments, home visits, office duties, and opportunities for remote work while managing documentation tasks.

Key Responsibilities

The Continence Nursing Specialist is integral to the delivery of specialized continence care. The role demands expertise in specific nursing domains and the capacity to offer advice, education, and support to both staff and patients, in compliance with relevant healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities include leading a team of nursing staff with the support of the Continence Team Lead.
