Job Overview

Hampshire Hospitals NHS is seeking an exceptional individual to join our Admiral Nurse team as a Radiographer Specialist. This is a 1-year fixed-term contract opportunity to provide specialist dementia care in an acute care setting.

Main Responsibilities

As a Radiographer Specialist, you will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to provide expert practical, clinical, and emotional support to families involved in the care of individuals living with dementia. You will benefit from being part of our wider inter-trust mental health team and contribute to the development of our Admiral Nursing service.

Key Requirements

  • Experience of dementia care within an NHS setting
  • Dementia qualification
  • Experience of providing carer support

Person Specification

We are looking for an exceptionally skilled, Registered Nurse (adult/mental health/learning disability) with a passion for providing person-centred and relationship-centred dementia care. You will have a strong sense of advocacy and equalities for this client group and be able to combine direct work with families with supporting the best practice of health and social care professionals.
