About the Role

We are seeking a talented Commercial Analyst to join our team at Veolia, a leading Environmental company. As a Commercial Analyst, you will play a key role in helping us achieve our growth objectives by developing successful pricing strategies, efficient processes, and bid solutions for new business tenders and contract renewal exercises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and present financial models to senior stakeholders
  • Drive sales strategy by analyzing sales performance metrics and improving win ratios, profitability, retention, and growth of our commercial sales
  • Support the senior sales leadership team through data-driven decisions to identify new commercial opportunities
  • Present and communicate complex financial models and data analysis to Director level
  • Support the commercial development of the business development and account management teams through regular engagement and refresher training sessions
Requirements
  • Experience as a data analyst modeling commercial opportunities
  • Understanding of commercial modeling systems, data, and processes
  • Analytical nature, critical thinking, and commercial acumen
  • Degree-level education in a relevant field (or relevant experience) - ideally mathematics or economics
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good organizational, stakeholder, and time management skills
  • An understanding of the sales process and Salesforce/CRM systems would be advantageous
