About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a logical individual who enjoys problem solving and data analysis. The role provides a breadth of experience in both analytical and operational processes where you will be responsible for providing a broad range of analysis, including regular and ad-hoc reporting.

You will join a team of Business Insights Analysts to support the Mobility Services Insights function in the expansion of our analytical capabilities. This role reports into the Insights & Reporting Manager.

Context

The Mobility Services Insights team are responsible for providing accurate, reliable, timely high-quality information and insights that are actionable.

Analysis plays a key role within the team, working with internal and third-party stakeholders to identify trends and patterns and understanding the drivers for customer & dealer interactions. This insight is then used to maximise commercial return and help optimise processes and operational delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Influence key business decisions with accurate, reliable, and timely analysis alongside regular and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Work closely with internal and third-party stakeholders to deliver analysis that improves business performance and operational processes.
  • Work as a key part of the Mobility Services Insights team, supporting dependencies within the team and for other departments across Motability Operations.
About You

You should be comfortable working with numbers, enjoy problem solving, confident to challenge the status quo using strong communication skills.

No previous Business Insights or Analytics experience is required as we will teach you the tools you need for the role, but experience in Microsoft Office applications including Excel will be useful.

You need to be a strong team player who is able to support their colleagues at all times regardless of workload and demands.

Minimum Requirements
  • Currently in your 2nd year and on track to achieve a 2:1 or better in a subject which includes Maths/Statistics
  • Able to travel to the Bristol Office 3 days a week
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail
  • Programming language (Python/R) experience is desirable
