Job Summary

Sovereign Strategy Ltd, a leading Public Affairs Consultancy, is seeking a skilled Partnerships and Events Manager to join its London team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting the strategic planning and execution of national and international policy-related events, forums, and roundtables.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage projects from start to finish, including logistics, administration, and reporting, for events and meetings with Sovereign Strategy project managers.
  2. Develop and implement the branding and marketing strategy for Sovereign Strategy, including the website and social media, in collaboration with senior management.
  3. Work closely with Account Managers and Account Executives on project-related deliverables, planning, and execution.
  4. Plan and execute Sovereign Strategy's annual and client events, ensuring alignment with company and client goals and brand image.
  5. Coordinate with the wider team to create cohesive and effective event and project management that delivers against company and client strategies.
  6. Oversee event budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure optimal value.
  7. Evolve and execute Sovereign Strategy's social media strategy across multiple platforms to increase brand visibility, engagement, and community growth.
  8. Identify opportunities to grow the reach of the company and clients via targeted engagement strategies.
Requirements
  1. At least 5 years' experience in events coordination and partnership roles, preferably in a political consulting firm, NGO, or corporate business.
  2. Proficient use of event/project management tools and methodologies.
  3. Proficiency in using and monitoring social media platforms.
  4. Demonstrable ability to lead through complex and competing priorities, working with relevant multi-team stakeholders to ensure strategic coherence and identify creative solutions.
  5. Ability to travel for work outside of the United Kingdom on occasion for event delivery.
Qualifications
  1. At least 5 years' experience in events coordination and partnership roles.
  2. Additional foreign language desired (e.g., French or Arabic).
  3. IT skills including Microsoft Office and event and email software.
  4. Experience in health and safety, personnel, and risk management desirable.
