About the Position

Job Title: Lead Security Engineer

Locations: Covering all Northern Regions in the UK

We are a prominent security firm in search of a committed Lead Security Engineer to join and direct our vibrant team.

Job Responsibilities

As the Lead Security Engineer, you will be instrumental in our operations, managing the installation, setup, and maintenance of surveillance and access management systems for our valued clients. You will lead and collaborate with our sales and engineering teams, ensuring that our clients receive unparalleled service and support.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to:

  • Formulate and execute security strategies
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in security technology
  • Engage in ongoing learning and development initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of Security Systems: Supervise the setup of intrusion detection systems, surveillance cameras, door hardware, locking mechanisms, automated doors, and access management systems at various client locations.
  • System Configuration and Validation: Ensure thorough configuration and validation of these systems to guarantee their optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Lead the identification and resolution of any system-related challenges, ensuring seamless and uninterrupted functionality.
  • Ongoing System Maintenance: Provide continuous support and maintenance for these systems, ensuring their durability and reliability.
  • Collaboration Across Departments: Work closely with the sales and engineering teams, contributing your expertise to deliver the most effective and suitable solutions to our clients.

Essential Qualifications
  • Robust technical expertise in surveillance and access management.
  • Understanding of network and IP-based security systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel across the South of England and beyond.
  • ECS certification.
