Key Responsibilities of the Security Solutions Engineer

In the role of Security Solutions Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Operations Manager and the broader branch network to execute work orders ranging from 4 to 8 hours, while also contributing to revenue generation for the organization. This position involves travel within designated regions.

  • Collaborate with the recommendations team and fellow engineers to identify and pursue new opportunities.
  • Engage with commercial sellers and Key Account Managers (KAMs) to explore leads that are not suitable for installation.
  • Prepare quotes for all small-scale projects originating from the recommendations team, commercial sellers, KAMs, or other sources.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding client needs and maintaining communication regarding estimated times of arrival, timelines, and more.
  • Manage each project from quotation through to completion, including stock orders.
  • Follow up on recommendations and quotes, ensuring clients comprehend the benefits and positive impacts of our proposed upgrades.
  • Identify upselling opportunities, such as suggesting panel upgrades when enhancing signaling systems.

WORKING HOURS:

  • Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Proven experience as a Security Engineer with extensive knowledge of Intruder Alarm systems, Access Control, and CCTV technologies.
  • Physical capability to lift and climb ladders; possession of an IPAF 3a & b cherry picker license is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service consistently.
