We are proud to represent a distinguished Engineering and Design Consultancy seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to enhance their financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
  • Conduct comprehensive bid evaluations, providing pricing support to project leaders.
  • Oversee the preparation of budgets and quarterly forecasts, along with detailed commentary and reporting.
  • Perform monthly account consolidations, reconciliations, and cash flow planning.
  • Engage in annual financial reporting, including audit documentation and compliance submissions.
  • Provide financial insights and support for investment proposals.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team and Operations Manager to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to internal operating procedures across the finance department.
  • Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, fostering their professional development.

About You:

  • You are a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Your expertise includes a strong grasp of finance processes, standards, and systems, complemented by effective business partnering skills.
  • You have experience managing large-scale projects and conducting bid reviews.
  • Your commercial acumen and technical accounting skills are well-developed.
  • You possess advanced Excel capabilities and a solid understanding of tax and compliance issues.
