We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team at Babcock International. As a key member of our integrated project team, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to create a safer world together.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of Business and report to the Head of Finance to drive financial performance and growth
  • Take care of a small team and lead all aspects of contract accounting, including revenue, profit, and cash-flow reconciliation
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to identify and mitigate financial risks, and provide accurate and meaningful financial information to support business decisions
  • Support Business Winning activities to ensure risks are identified, quantified, and mitigated against during the bid submission process
  • Deliver high-quality financial reports and analysis to stakeholders, including the Directors and Heads of Business

Requirements

  • Proven experience in finance business partnering, with a strong understanding of financial accounting frameworks and regulatory bodies
  • Ability to articulate and present financial issues to both finance and non-finance audiences
  • Line management experience, or equivalent, with a proven track record of achieving deadlines and targets
  • Up-to-date knowledge of financial accounting frameworks and regulatory bodies
  • Ability to provide added value analytical information to support business decision-making
