Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Southend-on-Sea branch. As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with customers and suppliers, managing the full operation of the branch, and driving profitable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Manage the branch layout to ensure safety, storage efficiency, and customer convenience
  • Lead and motivate a team of colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and achieve business objectives
  • Monitor and control sales, margin, and overheads to achieve financial targets
  • Champion a Stay Safe culture and promote colleague wellbeing
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a retail or construction industry
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive business growth
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
