About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Brand and Events Planner. As a key member of our Diageo España SA team, you will be responsible for bringing our brand to life through experiences in the fine wine and rare whisky world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Management: Oversee the planning and execution of key events in London, Edinburgh, and Hong Kong, ensuring seamless coordination and high-quality execution.
  • Experience Calendar Management: Develop and manage the experiences calendar for Burlington Arcade, working closely with the on-site team to deliver exceptional events.
  • Grower Partnerships: Foster relationships with internal teams and customers to connect them with growers, facilitating valuable and tailored visits.
  • Wine Public Relations and Partnerships: Collaborate with our PR agency to generate effective PR and host relevant events that showcase our brand's expertise.
  • Internal Coordination: Ensure the team is informed of the experience schedule, guaranteeing a smooth flow of information and efficient communication.
  • Brand Guidelines: Ensure adherence to brand guidelines at all events, maintaining consistency and quality.
  • Experiential Budget Management: Optimize and manage experiential budgets effectively, ensuring timely and successful event execution.
  • Measurement and Evaluation: Develop and implement a robust measurement and evaluation process to assess the effectiveness of our communications and activations.
Requirements
  • Strong Events, Hospitality, or PR Background: Proven experience in events, hospitality, or PR, with a strong track record of delivering successful events.
  • Wine Knowledge: Deep knowledge of wine, with a minimum of WSET level 3 certification.
  • Spirits Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of the spirits industry, with a focus on whisky.
  • Multi-Tasking and Time Management: Ability to handle multiple events, agencies, and deadlines across countries, with excellent time management skills.
  • Event Budgeting: Experience in running and maintaining event budgets.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings as required.
