MacGregor Black is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract role. This position is based in a Manufacturing Facility and requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to and resolve equipment breakdowns on production lines in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for reporting, PM, and repair activities.
- Implement proactive measures to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and prevent equipment failures.
- Maintain and enhance on-site health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with production operators to promote best practices in mechanical equipment operation.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to ensure technical expertise and support.
- Previous experience in a Manufacturing Environment is preferred.
- Background in Predictive/Planned Maintenance and Continuous Improvement (CI) is essential.
- Educated in an Engineering Discipline (ONC +) is required.
- Experience with CMMS is necessary.
This role involves Shift Work and requires flexibility and adaptability.
