Position Overview:
As a Specialist Teaching Assistant focused on SEN, you will be instrumental in guiding students with autism through their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personalized Support: Provide individualized assistance to students, ensuring that their unique learning objectives and requirements are met.
  • Classroom Support: Collaborate with the classroom teacher to foster an inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning, which includes aiding in lesson preparation and managing classroom dynamics.

Qualifications We Seek:
  • Experience: Previous experience in working with children with autism or in a special education environment is essential. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or similar methodologies is advantageous.
  • Educational Background: A relevant qualification in special education, teaching assistance, or a related discipline is highly preferred.
  • Empathy and Understanding: A sincere passion for working with children with autism, combined with the patience and insight necessary to support their individual needs.
  • Communication Proficiency: Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with students, educators, and families.
