We are seeking a part-time SEND Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism in a KS1 class setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working 1:1 with children with Autism and possess a minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
The role involves supporting a child with Autism on a 1:1 basis, assessing their achievements, and providing additional support as needed. The school has a resource base for children with additional needs and provides additional support for students with SEND requirements.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment. If you have a passion for working with children with Autism and possess the necessary qualifications and experience, we would love to hear from you.
Requirements:
* Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
* Experience working 1:1 with children with Autism
* Ability to work closely with the class teacher and other support staff
