Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate teaching assistant to support a child with special educational needs in a year 2 class. The successful candidate will work closely with the child, providing emotional and social support, as well as assistance with communication, mental health, and maths and English/phonics intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to the child with SEN
  • Assist with communication, mental health, and maths and English/phonics intervention
  • Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support the child's needs

Requirements:

  • Teaching assistant related qualifications (level 2+)
  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
