About the Role

Hays Construction and Property is seeking an experienced Operations Director to join their senior leadership team. As Operations Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing operations across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring HSE policies are embedded into daily operations, and monitoring and reporting on project progress and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage operations across multidisciplinary teams
  2. Ensure HSE policies are embedded into daily operations
  3. Monitor and report on project progress and performance
  4. Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure operational efficiency
  5. Deliver to operational and budgetary targets
  6. Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in senior operational management within heavy civils, ideally in the water sector. You will also need strong strategic planning and implementation abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to manage projects from inception through to completion.
