Position Overview

HR Advisor

Employment Type: Full Time - hours per week

Location: Oaks Hospital - Colchester

We are seeking individuals eager to advance their career in Human Resources within a dynamic, client-oriented environment. As a member of our Corporate People Team, you will deliver exceptional front-line HR advisory services, ensuring an outstanding employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for general HR inquiries, offering prompt and precise guidance in accordance with Ramsay HR policies, legal requirements, and expert advice.
  • Utilize our HR Information Systems and Rostering platforms to maintain accurate employee records and ensure correct payroll processing.
  • Verify that all employee compliance checks are current and accurate.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring a positive experience for new hires.
  • Participate in formal Employee Relations meetings as a company representative and note-taker.
  • Coordinate Occupational Health referrals and manage records of employee absences due to illness.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, or HR Advisor role, with a CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in HR Information Systems, with a preference for experience in Workday and/or Allocate Health roster.
  • Strong customer service capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a dispersed team.
  • High level of digital literacy and IT skills.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment is advantageous.
