IT Helpdesk Support Specialist - Contract Position

Initial Duration: 3 months

Location: Hybrid Work Model

Sector: Public Sector

Compensation: £150-£175 per day (Inside IR35 - through an Umbrella Company)

A Public Sector Client based in Glasgow is seeking an IT Helpdesk Support Specialist to join their team on a contract basis for an initial period of 3 months.

This role involves providing support to over 3000 users, and requires a candidate who is available immediately or at short notice. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Prior experience in a similar IT Helpdesk or 1st Line Support role
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of Windows systems, printers, and preferably ServiceNow for ticket management
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills, along with exceptional customer service capabilities
  • Experience working within a Public Sector environment is advantageous, though not mandatory
  • Outstanding communication skills are essential
