Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Helpdesk Customer Service Assistant to join our Estates team at Brook Street NMR.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a proactive Helpdesk and Reception, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient communication with visitors, stakeholders, and maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage visitor enquiries, deciding on the best course of action and escalating complex issues to relevant teams
  • Process paperwork and ensure contractors are properly inducted and certified
  • Coordinate access for maintenance staff and provide updates to customers and the maintenance system
  • Develop and maintain performance measures and distribute to teams
  • Liaise with customers and maintenance staff to resolve issues and improve services
Requirements
  • Significant experience in a Helpdesk function, preferably in facilities management or construction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Organizational and planning skills, with a focus on multitasking and prioritization
  • HNC Level qualification or equivalent, with a customer services background
