A family based near Abingdon, just outside Oxford, is seeking a live-in nanny to care for their three children, aged 8, 6, and 2. The eldest two attend full-time school, while the youngest attends nursery part-time.
The role involves sole charge of the children, with occasional shared care as the mother works part-time from home. Responsibilities include all standard nursery duties, such as getting the children ready for school, packing school bags, preparing snacks, and arranging activities and playdates.
The nanny will also be responsible for school pickups, taking the children to after-school activities, and preparing healthy meals for the children. A driver's license is essential, and a car will be provided for work purposes only.
This role would suit an experienced nanny who is comfortable maintaining the children's established routine and is looking for a long-term position. The family is pet-friendly, and the nanny will have their own large en-suite bedroom on the ground floor of the family home.
Flexibility to travel is a bonus, but not essential. The salary is negotiable, with a gross annual salary of 45,000 depending on experience.
