Job Title: Apprentice Project Engineer

Job Summary:

We're seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Project Engineer. In this role, you'll work closely with our Project Managers to manage a portfolio of race car parts within our in-house work centres.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement detailed project plans, including production routings and work orders.
  2. Demand Reconciliation and Management: Ensure accurate demand management in support of race, test, and development programmes.
  3. Capacity Planning: Analyze and optimize capacity to meet project requirements.
  4. Manufacturing Decision-Making: Collaborate with the Project Manager to decide on in-house manufacturing or subcontracting to meet project deadlines.
  5. Supply Chain Liaison: Build relationships with suppliers to support project delivery.
  6. Project Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of projects to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
  7. Quality Assurance: Work with the Quality team to mitigate project risks and ensure compliance with processes.
  8. Key Performance Indicators: Deliver projects within established KPI targets.
  9. Commercial Awareness: Understand the commercial aspects of low-volume, small-batch manufacturing.
  10. Manufacturing Experience: Leverage experience in a similar role within a high-precision manufacturing environment.
