Barking and Dagenham College is on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Advanced Football Coaching Specialist to enhance our expanding Football Academies within the Sports Department.
This position is part-time and fixed-term, offering a competitive salary of £47,192 per annum inclusive of London Weighting (pro-rated to 12 hours per week).
The Role of the Advanced Football Coaching Specialist:
The main objective of this role is to contribute to the development of our Football Academies, ensuring that our coaching standards align with the ethos of the institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and evaluate high-quality coaching sessions tailored to the needs of the teams, fostering player development in accordance with the football philosophy of our affiliated club.
- Collaborate with match analysts to curate and prepare relevant video footage for team and individual assessments.
- Assist in the recruitment of players for the Academy alongside the Curriculum Manager.
- Ensure that all academy players maintain appropriate conduct both on and off the field, representing Barking and Dagenham College and its football affiliations with integrity.
- Oversee the upkeep of training and match equipment, including balls, bibs, cones, and other necessary items for the Academy.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a UEFA A or B Licence.
- Holds a FA Level 2 Emergency First Aid in Football qualification.
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with players and coaching staff.
- Demonstrates strong organizational abilities to manage and set up equipment efficiently.
