About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Training Coordinator to join our team at Galliford Try. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering training programs that support the development of our employees and uphold the minimum levels of core competency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and plan training events, including coordinating venues, refreshments, and joining instructions.
  • Create and maintain competencies, reflecting the requirements of the business.
  • Liaise with delegates and prospective delegates to acknowledge bookings and provide course details.
  • Raise and notify suppliers of purchase order numbers for confirmed courses.
  • Generate monthly training reports and maintain learning and training records.
  • Administer CITB Grant and Apprenticeship Levy tasks throughout the financial year.
  • Prepare and dispatch joining instructions and course materials as required.
  • Ensure renewal dates for existing competencies do not lapse and certificates are renewed as needed.
  • Compile reports and management information for audit purposes.
  • Check and process training certificates, ensuring they are dispatched to the correct delegates.
  • Follow up on delayed or missing certificates with suppliers.
  • Prepare reports to keep senior management teams informed of process, compliance, and any arising issues within your area of responsibility.
  • Manage the provision of confidential and sensitive information.
About You

We are looking for a candidate who can:

  • Organize and plan their own workload to meet deadlines.
  • Provide excellent customer care skills, dealing with suppliers, internal customers, and complaints.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Be flexible and adaptable in their approach.
  • Be willing to participate in the development of new processes and team activities.
  • Display a positive and helpful attitude towards customers at all times.
  • Provide a high-quality service by telephone and email.
  • Act promptly to resolve customer complaints or refer them promptly if necessary.
  • Keep customers informed of progress and what has been done.
