Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking an experienced sales-driven recruiter or someone with a strong sales background to join our team as a Recruitment Consultant. As a key member of our Adecco branch, you will be responsible for managing the Perms desk, primarily within the commercial sector, supporting local businesses in Colchester and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities- Actively use sales, business development, and marketing techniques to attract business from companies.
- Develop long-term professional business relationships with clients and candidates.
- Provide a specialist consultative service by developing a thorough understanding of the local market.
- Sourcing and successfully placing permanent candidates into roles.
- Deliver a high level of customer service to all clients, candidates, and colleagues.
- Visit companies to build and develop working relationships.
- Advertise vacancies.
- Headhunt suitable candidates who may already be in work.
- Manage applications, interviews, candidate assessments, and create a shortlist of candidates for clients.
- Meet and brief candidates about job responsibilities, salary, and benefits.
- Prepare CVs and correspondence to forward to clients.
- Offer advice to clients and candidates on pay rates, training, and career progression.
To succeed in this role, you need motivation, initiative, responsibility, and a passion for financial incentives. You should be confident, able to use your own initiative, and manage your workload effectively. Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills are essential. You should also be resilient, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
