We are in search of a seasoned transport expert to take the helm of our Transport Department, leading a multidisciplinary team of specialists across various services. As a key member of the senior management team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues from Environment, Public Realm, Capital Projects, Highways, Parking, and the Economy departments, as well as other divisions within the council.
As the center of knowledge and innovation for the Environment sector, you will identify opportunities for pilot initiatives and spearhead efforts to fulfill the Council's objectives while ensuring effective governance, oversight, quality assurance, and successful implementation. The team will strive to align priorities and cultivate long-term partnerships with strategic allies and essential stakeholders to realize the Council's ambitions.
