CMC Markets is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end strategic business projects that require coordination from numerous business areas to achieve a common business objective.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Head of Business Functions, Global Head of Delivery, and Programme Manager to deliver complex business projects.
- Proactively manage risks and issues, and agree suitable mitigation or corrective actions as needed.
- Manage project dependencies to ensure the overall project timeline remains on track.
- Identify gaps or overlaps in projects and negotiate scope adjustments with project managers, executives, and sponsors.
- Resource planning and forecasting.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience interacting with business and IT individuals at all levels.
- Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the role.
- Provide a clear, fair, and consistent high-quality service to customers, clients, and colleagues.
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure confidentiality.
- Must be an experienced Project Manager with a track record of managing complex projects.
- Must have experience in Data Platforms & Technology Projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in working in regulated environments.
- Proactive in resolving business problems, making decisions, and identifying priorities.
- Advanced communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
- Able to work effectively with minimal supervision, taking ownership of tasks large and small.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to change.
- Good understanding of project management methodologies.
- Must have previous experience as a Programme Manager or Senior Project Manager.
