Senior Theatre Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our team at Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital. As a key member of our operating theatre team, you will be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide continuous competent and dedicated assistance under the direct supervision of the operating surgeon throughout the procedure.
  • Act as a Surgical First Assistant within the scope of practice, across a caseload of orthopaedic, general, gynaecology, and urology surgery.
  • Work as a Theatre Practitioner across various specialities when not acting as SFA.
  • Promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements.
Requirements:
  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Surgical First Assistant Qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Immediate Life Support provider.
  • Mentorship qualification.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of up to £32.00 per hour, depending on experience. As a bank employee, you will have the flexibility to work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
