Job Purpose
The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for driving the fundraising strategy, identifying and developing relationships with businesses and philanthropists to secure income for Tempus Novo. This role requires a strategic thinker with commercial acumen, able to work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to maximize results.
Main Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, focusing on corporate partnerships, philanthropy, and grants.
2. Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including businesses, philanthropists, and trusts.
3. Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop compelling fundraising documents and presentations.
4. Manage the fundraising pipeline, progressing prospects through the solicitation cycle.
5. Monitor income against budget, ensuring the charity meets its financial targets.
Requirements
1. Proven track record in developing and securing relationships that have achieved fundraising results.
2. Experience in account management or relationship management, preferably in a corporate giving or major giving context.
3. Strong commercial acumen and ability to think strategically.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
5. Highly organized, with the ability to manage competing workloads and prioritize tasks effectively.
