Monday to Thursday: 08:00hrs - 17:00hrs
Friday: 08:00hrs - 14:30hrs

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for our esteemed client in Tamworth, recognized globally as a premier provider of high-performance precision engineering solutions for leading market players.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhering to AS9100, ISO9001 & ISO17025 standards.
- Interpreting engineering schematics and conducting inspections accordingly.
- Programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (using QCT and Mitutoyo software).
- Programming, evaluating, and operating Gear Measuring Machines.
- Utilizing general measuring instruments such as micrometers, surface testers, and contour tracers.
- Ensuring completion of route cards.
- Collaborating with manufacturing teams.
- Engaging with a team of quality assurance professionals.
- Implementing First Article Reporting methods (in Aerospace and Automotive sectors).
- Communicating effectively across all business functions and levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Visio, Word).
- Utilizing the company's ERP/MRP systems.
- Following Local Works Instructions and Quality Control documentation.
- Exhibiting a keen eye for detail.
- Upholding the Environmental Health & Safety policy consistently.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Familiarity with AS9100 Rev D, ISO9001: 2015 & ISO17025: 2017.
- Experience in CMM programming and Gear Measuring Machine operations.
- Background in Aerospace / Automotive OEM environments.
- Strong understanding of measurement evaluations.
- Ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Experience in compiling FAIR reports for clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project.
