We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for our esteemed client in Tamworth, recognized globally as a premier provider of high-performance precision engineering solutions for leading market players.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhering to AS9100, ISO9001 & ISO17025 standards.
  • Interpreting engineering schematics and conducting inspections accordingly.
  • Programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (using QCT and Mitutoyo software).
  • Programming, evaluating, and operating Gear Measuring Machines.
  • Utilizing general measuring instruments such as micrometers, surface testers, and contour tracers.
  • Ensuring completion of route cards.
  • Collaborating with manufacturing teams.
  • Engaging with a team of quality assurance professionals.
  • Implementing First Article Reporting methods (in Aerospace and Automotive sectors).
  • Communicating effectively across all business functions and levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Visio, Word).
  • Utilizing the company's ERP/MRP systems.
  • Following Local Works Instructions and Quality Control documentation.
  • Exhibiting a keen eye for detail.
  • Upholding the Environmental Health & Safety policy consistently.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Familiarity with AS9100 Rev D, ISO9001: 2015 & ISO17025: 2017.
  • Experience in CMM programming and Gear Measuring Machine operations.
  • Background in Aerospace / Automotive OEM environments.
  • Strong understanding of measurement evaluations.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in compiling FAIR reports for clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project.
