Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Lead to join our team at Legal & General. As a Data Insights Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting our investment processes and driving effective collaboration across our teams on all data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day business needs of our investment team by providing data insights and analysis.
  • Owning and maintaining our enterprise data and ensuring it aligns with our investment processes.
  • Collaborating with our technology and data teams on all types of change initiatives.
  • Aligning our approach to data with our company's data strategy.
  • Promoting the innovative use of data to support our investment growth.
  • Delivering investment-specific data solutions.
  • Managing vendor data requirements.
  • Ensuring alignment with our risk and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Deep data skills and experience of applying them in investment management or a related industry.
  • Excellent influencing skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to define, develop, articulate, and deploy data solutions.
  • Awareness of and interest in current and emerging data and technology trends and practices.
  • Strong and credible communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the investment management process, instruments, trade strategies, and risk analytics requirements.
  • Experience of working in a global investment manager.
