Collaborating with a team of seasoned professionals, you will refine and innovate processes utilizing technical expertise in programming languages such as Go and SQL. This role necessitates regular engagement with different teams and external partners to address a wide array of daily challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver daily operational support to clients, primarily focusing on hedge funds or alternative investment vehicles.
  • Ensure accurate trade entries and conduct daily position and cash reconciliations.
  • Transmit trade and position data to custodians and administrators.
  • Manage cash journals and corporate actions efficiently.
  • Address trade settlement inquiries, trade matching, and reconciliation tasks.
  • Oversee and track the trade lifecycle across diverse products, including both cash and derivatives.
  • Administer daily and weekly cash and margin oversight.
  • Reconcile Net Asset Value (NAV) and establish/manage expense accruals, including management and performance fees.
  • Facilitate portfolio and share class foreign exchange hedging.
  • Generate various reports related to funds and clients.
  • Coordinate with counterparties, custodians, prime brokers, and administrators to resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain and update procedural documentation.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients, ensuring a seamless transition into the Operations team.
  • Support the selection and implementation of new systems.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation of the Operations team.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree (minimum 2:1) in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 3-10 years of relevant experience in operations across multiple asset classes.
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Adept at analyzing and troubleshooting issues in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated individual with a high level of diligence and initiative.
  • Programming experience (Python, Go) related to automation and data management (SQL).
  • Passionate about tackling challenges and striving for optimal solutions.
