We are seeking a highly skilled Product and Process Development Chemist to join our team at Kingspan Insulation, a leading manufacturer of high-performance rigid insulation within the construction industry.

About the Role

As a Product and Process Development Chemist, you will be responsible for implementing product and process developments to ensure compliant production of Polyisocyanurate, Phenolic, and Extruded Polystyrene insulation boards. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that new product quality fully meets specification standards and targets defined within the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement raw material specifications for new materials as part of change management projects, ensuring key performance characteristics are identified and relevant testing is carried out at appropriate limits to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with local Quality teams to ensure new technical test methods are suitable to ensure conformity to relevant product standards and/or technical agreements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.
