The role holder will work within a small, friendly and busy team of Executive Support staff in the School.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the School of Biological Sciences, including financial support.
- Work within a small, friendly and busy team of Executive Support staff in the School.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a busy office environment within an administrative support role.
- A good understanding/experience of financial systems preferably in a UK Higher Education Environment or equivalent.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities and meet set deadlines.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent IT skills and proficient in the use Microsoft Office and Teams.
