Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team at James Lake Hospitality Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing menus, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our guests and drive revenue growth
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, staff supervision, and food safety protocols
  • Collaborate with our events team to deliver high-quality events and functions
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing kitchen team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior kitchen management role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Strong culinary skills, with a focus on menu development and execution
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols and health and safety regulations
