Work Placement Officer

Location: Rotherham

Salary: £24,249 FTE (Pro-rata £13, per annum + benefits

Hours: Part time, term time (22.5 hrs per week, working 40 weeks per year)

The Role

As a Work Placement Officer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the student experience by sourcing high-quality placement opportunities that complement learning. Your contributions will be instrumental in developing a central platform of information to support work experience opportunities across the Group.

Key Responsibilities
  1. You will have experience working within an educational environment and/or with young people, preferably in a Further Education/Post 16 setting.
  2. You will be part of a team responsible for building and maintaining a centralized database of employers, providing valuable information to learners on placements.
  3. You will possess qualifications in English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE) or equivalent.
  4. You will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain confidentiality in your work.
Department Information

The Work Placement Officer will work collaboratively with colleagues on site and across other Groups to provide a consistent and centralized approach to Work Experience. You will report to the Student Support Team Leader and work closely with colleagues in the Student Support teams onsite.
