We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our Anaesthesia department as Head of School. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of medical education and training in the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of educational strategies to improve learner supervision, assessment, and experience.
  • Collaborate with faculty and stakeholders to ensure effective educational outcomes and whole workforce transformation.
  • Contribute to workforce planning and commissioning, engaging with business planning processes and associated School budgets.
Requirements:
  • Primary medical qualification or On the Specialist Register.
  • Membership/Fellowship of a College, Faculty, Professional Association, and/or Regulatory Body.
  • Experience of working with learners or doctors in training in an educational context.
  • Experience of clinical and educational leadership.
