Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Talent and Organisational Development team as a Learning and Development Advisor. This role will play a key part in supporting the delivery of an integrated talent and leadership development agenda for North Lanarkshire Council.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Senior Learning and Development Advisor to develop and implement talent management solutions that align with the organisation's priorities and workforce strategy.
  • Design and deliver highly impactful leadership and management development programmes and blended learning pathways to support the development of internal talent capability.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organisation to identify and develop talent, and to improve the talent pipeline.
  • Develop and deliver occupational management development solutions, such as SVQs and PDAs, in line with organisational priorities.

Requirements

  • SCQF Level 8 qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in developing and delivering talent management solutions and working creatively with stakeholders.
  • Experience of blended learning approaches and delivering immersive and experiential leadership development programmes.
  • Sound project management skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A management qualification would be desirable.
