About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable engineer to join our team as a Learning Assistant of Engineering. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in supporting our tutors to develop the skills and professional behaviors of our students and apprentices.

As a multi-skilled engineer, you will be confident with a range of tools, equipment, and processes within engineering workshop environments. You will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting tutors in their practical lesson delivery and preparing the environment ready for learning
  • Sharing your skills and knowledge with students and apprentices
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of engineering programs and projects
  • Contributing to the maintenance and improvement of engineering facilities and equipment
