Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for tankered waste services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and presentations.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations that effectively communicate service offerings to prospective clients.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure their needs are met and identify further sales opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, legislative changes, and technological advancements within the liquid waste management and wastewater sector.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a high level of customer service and that client expectations are fulfilled.
- Provide regular progress reports to management on sales targets, customer issues, and market intelligence.
- Represent Red Kite Waste at industry events, trade shows, and professional associations to enhance its profile and develop new business leads.
- Achieve a deep understanding of Red Kite Waste's service portfolio and the regulatory framework governing tankered waste management to offer compliant and sustainable solutions to clients.
- Handle contract negotiations and close agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal guidelines.
Requirements:
You must have a proven track record as a Field Sales Executive against targets in a business development environment, demonstrated within the liquid waste, non-hazardous waste management, or industrial services sector.
