Head of Business Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Business to join our BMW division and manage our Scunthorpe dealership. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day operations, driving financial performance, and managing a team of automotive professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of automotive professionals to achieve dealership goals
  • Drive a high-performance culture, ensuring performance is rewarded and underperformance is managed
  • Oversee sales and aftersales divisions to ensure performance meets or exceeds budget
  • Set financial and growth objectives for each department and plan accordingly to ensure profit and product targets are met
  • Accurately finalize dealership reporting in line with group reporting frameworks
  • Develop and roll out dealership marketing and publicity strategies to support objectives
  • Support dealerships to consistently achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Ensure dealership activities are conducted in line with Marshall Motor Group, manufacturer, and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a General Manager or Sales/Aftersales Manager with longevity in the role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a large and diverse team
  • Professional and calm approach with strong stakeholder management skills to manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to foresee potential barriers
