Finance Support Specialist

Position Overview:
Meallmore is seeking a dedicated Finance Support Specialist to enhance our dynamic team. As a prominent provider of residential care services, we pride ourselves on delivering personalized care tailored to the unique needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate invoicing of care fees and timely posting of receipts.
- Manage the credit control process effectively.
- Reconcile Non-Care Invoices from our facilities with received payments.
- Import data from our time management system into the payroll system.
- Handle the onboarding, termination, and transfer processes for employees.
- Process payments and deductions not exported from the time management system, including statutory payments and Company Sick Pay.
- Maintain payroll records by updating changes such as tax code notifications and pay rate adjustments.
- Submit Real Time Information (RTI) to HMRC through the Government Gateway.
- Reconcile hours recorded in the time management system with hours compensated via payroll.
- Coordinate payment arrangements for any wage arrestments.
- Address various payroll-related inquiries from staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong numerical aptitude.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- A minimum of one year’s experience in a financial role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Skilled in reconciling accounts to facilitate effective credit control.
- Familiarity with HMRC regulations and reporting requirements.
