Examination Operations Specialist

Job Summary

The British Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Day Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of B2B Exams and Projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the registration of exam entries, respond to queries or issues, and provide technical assistance leading up to and on Test Day.
  • Undertake bulk upload and cash reconciling, and project manage and vendor manage to ensure procurement, regular servicing, and readiness of use of IT-related equipment.
  • Ensure technical compliance of equipment and connectivity at test venues, and plan and prioritize own work activities to ensure effective delivery of responsibilities.
  • Support all relevant pre-test, test day, and post-test services and procedures, and coordinate with test day operations coordinators on relevant tasks.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • University degree and 2 years of relevant exams operations experience.
  • Experience managing small teams or demonstrating management potential.
  • Ability to prepare and present reports and analysis.
  • Previous experience in exams administration, especially using IELTS systems like ORS, IWAS, IAM, EQCS.
  • Knowledge of UK Board regulations and processes and proven track record of complying with these.
