Diagnostic Imaging Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PET-CT and CT Radiographer to join our imaging team at The Harley Street Clinic and Leaders in Oncology Care (LOC). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Imaging Services: Skilfully perform a wide range of PET-CT and CT procedures to a high standard, prioritizing patients to ensure optimum efficiency and service quality.
- Training and Development: Assist with the training of new staff, ensuring they receive comprehensive guidance and support to excel in their roles.
- Quality Assurance: Comply with legislative and hospital policies & procedures to ensure patient safety, particularly in Radiation Protection and Infection Control. Support departmental audits in accordance with clinical governance policies.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure quality assurance of equipment is carried out in line with departmental policy, recording and reporting faults in a timely manner and implementing corrective action where necessary.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Work unsupervised, seeking advice from the superintendent or medical staff when required. Assist with the implementation of new policies within the department and monitor their effectiveness.
- Education and Experience: BSc in Radiography or equivalent, with previous senior-level experience and comprehensive post-qualification work experience in PET/CT. Previous experience working in Nuclear Medicine is desirable.
- Skills and Qualities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using imaging equipment and software, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Competitive Salary: Up to £54,645 dependent on experience.
