Job Title: Clinical Specialist Radiographer - CT & Generals

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Radiographer to join our team at The Portland Hospital, London. As a key member of our Paediatric Radiology Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate diagnostic imaging services using CT, Cath Lab/IR, Plain Film Imaging, theatre, mobile x-ray, and fluoroscopy.
  • Work within Radiation protection guidelines in accordance with the Local Rules and 2017 Ionising Radiation Medical Exposure Regulations (IR(ME)R).
  • Have initiative and provide high-level customer care.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with HCA policies and professional Code of Conduct.
  • Work as a team player, ensuring cover is provided at all times across all modalities, maximising clinical efficiency.
  • Participate in an on-call rota and extended working days (by rota).
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration.
  • Prior experience in CT (Siemens preferable) and Interventional Radiology.
  • The willingness to rotate through General x-ray.
  • Experience in Paediatric radiography desirable but not essential.
  • Be familiar with PACS and RIS software systems.
  • Be familiar with undertaking audits.
